This Privacy Policy applies to all visitors and customers of Core Chain Labs. All products are for research use only.
This Privacy Policy explains what Core Chain Labs ("we", "us") collects when you visit corechainresearch.com or place an order, how that information is used, and the choices you have. It applies to every visitor and customer of the site. All products are supplied for laboratory research use only.
1. Information We Collect
We collect only what is needed to run the store and fulfil orders.
- Account information — your name, email address, and a hashed password if you create an account.
- Order information — name, email, shipping address, the items ordered, and a payment reference identifier.
- Contact submissions — the name, email address, and message you send us through a contact form or by replying to one of our emails.
- Cart activity — the items you add to your cart, tied to an anonymous session identifier, and to your email address if you entered one during checkout.
- Technical data — IP address, browser type, and request timestamps recorded in routine server logs for security and diagnostics.
We do not collect or store raw payment card numbers. Where card payment is offered, the card details are entered on the payment processor's own hosted page and never reach our servers; we retain only a reference identifier for the transaction.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information above to:
- process, fulfil, and ship your orders;
- send transactional email about an order (confirmation, shipping, delivery problems);
- send a cart reminder if you left items behind and gave us your email address;
- answer the messages you send us;
- maintain your account and order history;
- detect and prevent fraud, and meet our legal and tax obligations.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
3. Cookies and Local Storage
We use your browser's local storage to keep your cart, your session, and your age confirmation between page loads. These are functional, not advertising.
We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or cross-site tracking of any kind.
4. Email Communications
Transactional email relating to an order — confirmation, shipping notices, and problem reports — is required to fulfil that order and cannot be opted out of while the order is open.
Marketing email, where offered, is sent only to addresses that opted in, and every marketing message carries a working unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing does not affect transactional email about an order already placed.
5. Data Retention
Order and payment records are retained for at least seven (7) years to meet legal, accounting, and tax obligations. Account information is retained while your account is active. You may ask us to close your account at any time; we may still retain order records where the law requires it.
6. Third-Party Services
The following providers process personal information on our behalf, each limited to what its function requires. Each is governed by its own privacy policy.
- Resend — email delivery. Receives your name and email address in order to send transactional and order-related mail.
- Shippo — shipping labels and tracking. Receives your name, shipping address, and email address.
- the peer-to-peer payment services listed at checkout — payment handling, where card payment is offered. Receives the payment details you enter on its hosted page, along with the order amount.
- Hosting and font providers — receive standard request data, including IP address, as a normal part of serving the site.
We do not use advertising networks or analytics services that build profiles of you.
7. Data Security
Your data is held in a database on a server we control. Passwords are stored only as bcrypt hashes and are never recorded in plain text. Access to production data is limited to the people who need it to operate the store.
If a breach occurs that is likely to create a risk to your rights, we will notify affected users within 72 hours of becoming aware of it, as far as is practicable.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your Rights
Wherever you live, you may contact us to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- correct data that is inaccurate;
- request deletion of your data, subject to records we are legally required to keep;
- object to a particular use of your data.

9. State Privacy Rights
Residents of certain states have additional statutory rights, which we honour for all customers regardless of residence:
- Right to know — the categories and specific pieces of personal information collected about you, the sources, the purpose, and the categories of third parties it is shared with.
- Right to delete — deletion of personal information collected from you, subject to exceptions such as completing a transaction, meeting a legal obligation, or investigating security incidents.
- Right to correct — correction of inaccurate personal information.
- Right to opt out of sale or sharing — we do not sell or share personal information for monetary or other valuable consideration, so there is nothing to opt out of; we confirm the right regardless.
- Right to non-discrimination — we will not deny service, change prices, or reduce quality because you exercised a privacy right.
Categories collected: identifiers (name, email, IP address); commercial information (order history); electronic activity (cart sessions, sign-in events); and geolocation to the extent a shipping address reveals it.

10. Age Restriction
Access to this site is limited to people 21 years of age or older, confirmed at entry. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone below that age. If you believe we hold information from a minor, email corechainlabs@gmail.com and it will be deleted.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy. The revision date at the top always reflects the current version, and registered users will be notified by email of material changes. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
